I make the portraits in a variety of styles, ranging from very simple to very complex. You can see my art on facebook and on deviantART. Below are a few examples.
Tom Chaplin, vocalist in the English band Keane. A simple and quick outline portrait with very few details. Most portraits start out looking like this, and then I build from there.

A self-portrait, and the simplest form of portrait after the outline.
